Private live captions for Mac teams
NotchLive helps teams follow meetings, client calls, interviews, trainings, and videos with on-device captions and speech-to-text notes, without inviting a meeting bot into every conversation.
Useful for teams before you need a platform
Some teams need better captions and faster notes, but do not need a heavy meeting-recorder workspace for every call. NotchLive is a local Mac app for individuals inside privacy-sensitive teams: each person captions audio on their own device, saves transcripts only when appropriate, and keeps notes local unless they choose to export or share them.
Important: NotchLive is not an enterprise compliance platform. If your organization requires SSO, centralized administration, audit logs, a DPA, a BAA, or formal vendor security review before use, evaluate those requirements separately before standardizing.
Team workflows
Client-facing calls
Read live captions during sales, support, consulting, legal, recruiting, or advisory calls without adding another meeting participant.
Internal meetings
Help teammates follow fast conversation, accents, noisy audio, and dense product discussions with local captions.
Training and onboarding
Caption recorded trainings, webinars, product demos, and walkthroughs from any Mac app.
Follow-up notes
Use Voice Notes after a call to dictate next steps, summaries, and action items that stay local by default.
How it differs from team meeting recorders
| Workflow need | Typical meeting platform | NotchLive |
|---|---|---|
| Shared company meeting archive | Often a good fit | Not the goal |
| Personal live captions | Usually heavier than needed | Good fit |
| No extra participant in the meeting | Usually no | Yes, runs locally on each Mac |
| Cloud audio transcription | Common | No NotchLive cloud audio transcription |
| Central admin and audit logs | Often available | Not available today |
Good fits
- Distributed teams: Help teammates follow calls across accents, language differences, and audio quality issues.
- Client-service teams: Use personal captions and dictated follow-ups without creating a shared recording by default.
- Product and research teams: Caption interviews, demos, and customer conversations when recording is appropriate.
- Founders and operators: Keep calls moving, then turn spoken thoughts into local notes after the meeting.
Use it with clear team policies
NotchLive does not decide whether your team should record, retain, export, or share transcripts. Teams should set their own rules for consent, retention, confidential information, and approved tools.
- It does not provide SSO or centralized team administration.
- It does not certify compliance with internal or external requirements.
- It does not replace vendor review, procurement, or data-processing approval when those are required.
- It does not notify meeting participants for you.
Use NotchLive only in ways that are appropriate for the conversation, organization, jurisdiction, and people involved.
Start with local captions
