Questions about imported recordings
Which file types can I import?
NotchLive accepts supported audio and video files through the macOS file picker. If a file cannot be decoded by the system, NotchLive reports the import problem instead of changing the source.
Does importing a video create another video copy?
No. NotchLive keeps the audio needed for playback with the session rather than storing a duplicate of the imported video.
Do I need saved audio to translate a transcript?
No. Saved-transcript translation works for text-only sessions too. It translates the transcript, not the retained audio.
What happens if retained audio is removed outside NotchLive?
The session explains that the audio is missing and keeps the transcript available.
